Codeep Voice Pro
WordPress plugin
177 voices, no meter running.
Coming soon. Pro is not available to buy yet. You can install the free Codeep Voice plugin today.
Pro is an add-on to Codeep Voice for Posts, not a replacement for it. The free plugin keeps doing everything it does now, without limits, whether you buy this or not. Pro adds the things that only matter once you have a lot of posts.
Planned pricing: $49 a year for one site or $99 a year for five sites. Final pricing and purchase terms will be confirmed when sales open.
What Pro adds
-
The Piper voice library, 177 voices
Fifty-three languages, and all of them fast enough to be usable on a computer with no graphics card. Listen to every one of them in your own admin before you download anything. The free plugin ships one of these voices already, so you can hear the kind of thing they are before you pay.
-
Record the whole archive at once
Pick a category or a date range and leave it running. Each post is saved as it finishes, so closing the tab costs you one post, not the batch.
-
Record on publish
Press Publish in the block editor and the audio is recorded right there, without opening the Voice screen. The voice is made on your computer, so the tab stays open until the file is saved. Scheduled posts that go live while you are away wait in a list, one click from being recorded.
-
A pronunciation dictionary
Your product names, your author names, the acronyms your field uses. Teach it once and every recording after that gets them right.
-
A podcast feed
Everything you have recorded, as an RSS feed Apple Podcasts and Spotify will accept.
-
The text follows the voice, and the player is yours
The sentence being read is highlighted on the page as the voice reads it. Colours, size and corners of the player become yours to set, and it can stay at the bottom of the screen while you listen.

If a year ends unpaid, only Pro stops. The audio you have already made keeps playing on your posts, and the free plugin keeps working as before.

Pro sales have not opened yet. The free plugin is already available on WordPress.org, with nine voices, unlimited posts and downloadable MP3 files. You do not need Pro to use it.
Planned licence behaviour
It is checked when you activate the plugin, and the answer is remembered on your site. If our licence server is down, Pro keeps working. We will never switch off something you paid for because of our own infrastructure.
Your site asks again once a week, and every day once a paid year is over. That is how a renewal, or the end of a year, reaches it.
One key covers one site, or five on Agency. Moving a site is not a problem: remove the key on the old one and the slot comes back.
Pro is free software too, under the GPL v3 or later. The licence key pays for the work, not for permission.
